A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 6:00pm Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.

6.         Discussion - Blackstone Valley Tourism Council - Sidewalk Cafe

Alex Summer and Bob Billington was present from Blackstone Valley Tourism to speak about sidewalk cafes.  The Council and clerk spoke about the on going discussion with the law department on the Public safety issues.

8.         Public Hearing - FY 2009 Edward Byrne Memorial Grant

(requested by Colonel Moran)

Colonel Moran was present and spoke of the Grant.

Councilor Benson opened the Public hearing for comments, and then closed it.

a.   Amending Section 22-28 (a) Filling of Vacancies (at the request of Councilor Benson)

b.   Amending Article I Section 12-8 Schedule of fees for licenses and permits. (at the request of Councilor Benson)
