A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date and location at 6:00 p.m.
Councilor DeLaHoz - Present
Councilor Aubin, Jr.
Councilor Szlasltha
Councilor Crowley
Councilor Benson, Jr.
Quorum present.
Election of Council President and President Pro Tempore
Deputy City Clerk Marie Twohey opened the floor for nominations for City Council President.
Councilor Crowley nominated Councilman William Benson,Jr. for President of the City Council.
Deputy City Clerk Twohey asked for other nominations three times, hearing none, she closed the nominations and cast one vote for Councilor William Benson, Jr.
Nomination was seconded by Councilor Aubin. All Agreed. So voted.
Deputy City Clerk Twohey congratulated Councilman William Benson Jr. on his election as Council President and turned the meeting to Council President Benson Jr..
Council President William Benson, Jr. opened the floor for nominations for Council President ProTempore.
Councilor Aubin nominated Councilor Crowley. Nomination seconded by Councilor Delahoz.
Council President Benson, Jr. asked for other nominations three times, hearing none, he closed the nominations and cast one vote for Councilor Elizabeth A. Crowley, Council President Pro Tempore.
There being no other business before the Council, Council President Benson adjourned the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
