A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 12:35pm Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.

a.         Charging the cost of acquiring certain equipment to the City’s Emergency Equipment Replacement Reserve Fund

Chief Rene Coutu was present, and discussion took place to explain the above resolution.

Motion to amend the Resolution title to say “acquiring Emergency Generator for the Fire Deparment” made by Councilor Crowley and seconded by Councilor Aubin.  All Agreed.  So voted. 3-0

Motion to approve the Resolution made by Councilor Crowley and seconded by Councilor Aubin.  All Agreed.  So voted. 3-0

Motion to amend the Resolution made by Councilor Crowley and seconded by Councilor Aubin to say “In the event that the City is successful in obtaining reimbursement for such costs related to the replacement of the Fire Department generator from any third party, the fund shall be allocated the sum of  60% of any such recovery as it is received, not to exceed $34,650.00, with the remaining recovery to be allocated to the Fire Department Emergency Repair fund.” All agreed. So voted. Approved 3-0.
