The Regular meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m.

Quorum present.
Council President Pro Tempore Ricardo Patino presided.
Council President Pro Tempore Patino appointed Councilman Gil chair of the Claims Committee
replacing former Councilman Silva.

Motion to place on file was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Gil.
All Agreed. So Voted.

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Gil.

Rick Aubin gave a brief overview of Scouts.
1. Congratulating Bryan Leyva, Elkla Arredondo and Carol Gaitan on receiving Latino dollars for Scholars Scholarships.
2. Opposing the closing of the Portuguese Consulate in Providence and Boston.
Motion to approve collectively was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Gil.

Discussion & possible action regarding City telephone poles.
Councilman Benson discussed the danger that these poles present to the general public.
The issue was referred to the Legal Department who would direct a communication to The Director of Narragansett Electric with a copy to the PUC.
Council President Pro Tempore Patino requested that a memo be sent to the Personnel Director inviting him to the next meeting.
