A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:40 p.m.

Quorum present.
Councilman Patino chaired the meeting and led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.
First Passage/Public Hearing
1. The Annual Operating Budget. (Fy 2006-07)
2. The Annual Capital Budget.
3. The Annual Capital Program.
4. An Ordinance pertaining to salaries for Police Officers and Firefighters.(Fy 2006/07)
5. An Ordinance Amending Wage Schedule Generally. (Fy 2006/07).
6. An Ordinance pertaining to Salaries of Department Heads and Others in Unclassified Service. (Fy 2006-07).
7. An Ordinance Establishing the Maximum Number of Employees in the City Departments
8. An Ordinance transferring certain funds in the Fy 2006/06Budget
Motion to approve collectively was made by Councilman Silva and seconded by Councilman Benson and Councilman Gil.
Motion carried 4 yes 0 no 1 absent.
None
Under new business the meeting recessed to the Clerk’s Office to continue discussions on the budget.
Meeting discussion centered on various ways to cut expenses in the budget
Finance Chairman Silva suggested that the meeting be recessed to Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to continue discussion of budget.
Meeting recessed at 7:00 p.m. to be continued on Thursday June 8th at 5:30 p.m.

The City Council did not meeting on Thursday June 8th and for purposes of adjourning the meeting reconvened on Monday June 12, 2006
There being no other business related to this meeting motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Silva. All Agreed. So Voted.
