Motion to approve collectively was made by Councilman Silva and seconded by Councilman Patino. All Agreed. So Voted
Chris Hopkins Director of Programs Special Olympics-unified sports team with or without special needs. Tony Tager and his team are Model Citizens, True Sportsman and special athletes. Mr. Tager are recipients 2005 participants award “let me win but if I cannot win Let me be brave in the attempt.” Mr. Tager thanked on behalf of the unified team.
Major John Desmarais & Colonel Joseph Moran Announce JAG awarded $21,272 designated new fingerprint system. Immediately send to Attorney General & FBI. Day Card Prints and School Department prints.
Another area Police Officers assigned to each district divided into 4 each officer get to know the businessman and persons in the district.
Third sex offender monitoring. Allow a police officer to monitor in the City, what they are doing when in the City and when they moved. Councilman Benson questioned Major Desmarais. Discussion followed.
Mr. Nield gave an overview on recycling.
Council President Leger complimented the Police Department and the Highway Department on the job well done in their plowing.
The Public was reminded that there is an ordinance on the books about throwing snow in the streets as well as an Ordinance related to shoveling sidewalks.

Introduction
An Ordinance Amending Chapter 32 “Solid Waste Management.”
Introduced by Council President Leger at request of the Public Works Department. So Introduced.
1. Resolution authorizing the creation of an advisory Charter review Commission. (Introduced by Councilman Patino).
Motion was made by Councilman Benson to approve. Seconded by Councilman Silva Councilman Gil All Agreed. So Voted
2. Resolution authorizing a lease for the use of the Museum by the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island. Lease for 28 weeks. Donation $35.00 per week. 25 women 25 girls. Development program.
Motion was made by Councilman Patino to amend to include a fee of $ 35.00 per week. Seconded by Councilman Silva. All Agreed. So Voted.

Councilman Patino commented on new owners of businesses taking over without the proper paper work. He stressed that business must not do business without the proper paperwork. Councilman Gil commented. Licensing committee meeting on Thursday.
Councilman Benson commented on all current auto dealers license to sell new and used cars. State Sales License to properly tax the license. Not violating a City Ordinance. We mail or e-mail a copy to the State. We’ve done our due diligence. Make arrangements with the DMV. Will forward approved licenses to the License Inspector.
Council President Leger stated that the Council will schedule License meetings at 6:00p.m. prior to the Council Meeting. This will allow each member to discuss the business within their Ward in detail.
