A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.

Councilman Leger read a letter from Chief Moran.

Mr. Gagnon commented on the Chief's letter and explained the need for the use of this gun.

 

Councilman Leger asked legal for an opinion by the Dec. 13th meeting.

3.  An Ordinance Amending Chapter 38 entitled "Traffic" pertaining to fines. (Introduced by Councilman Leger and Councilman Benson at the request of the Police Chief.) So Introduced.

Public Hearing/Final Passage

 

1.  An Ordinance creating an Inspection fee by the Central Falls Fire Department for inspections related to the State Fire Code and any rule or regulation of the State Fire Marshall. (Introduced by Councilman Benson at the request of the Fire Chief.)

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Silva and seconded by Councilman Benson. All Agreed. So Voted.

Councilman Leger asked the City Clerk to Notify the Police Department that on December 1, 2004 the Police should pay a visit to those businesses that have not renewed their licenses that they will be seen by the Council on December 13, 2004 meeting.

 

He also stated that the School Issue will be on the December 13th meeting as well as the Local Hazard Mitigation Committee from Chief Coutu.
