A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 7:12 p.m.

2. Pledge of Allegiance
Council President Weber presided and led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance
3. Public Comments

4. Resolutions
1. Resolution Memorializing the Members of the General Assembly from Central Falls to introduce and urge passage of Legislation Authorizing Bonds of the City and to Authorize a Referendum to be held thereon.
Motion to approve was made by Councilman Silva and seconded by Councilman Benson.

Motion carried 5 yes 0 no 0 absent.
2. Resolution authorizing a Lease Purchase Agreement for the purpose of financing the Acquisition of City Vehicles.
Councilman Leger stated that this is a quality of life issue and that control is a contributing factor.
Councilman Silva stated that this will allow for 1 1/2 - 2 days dealing with other issues.
Councilman Patino commented on complaints from earlier days and related that most Cities and Towns that have gone private stay private.
Council President Weber commented that the Council should put a trust in the Mayor and
Public Works Director that the job will get done.
Councilman Leger commented on the current Public Works Director the improvement in the Department and the respect for the employees will get the job done. He stated there is no reason to fudge the numbers except to say that 18 is better than 6.
Councilman Patino stated that he is here to serve his constituents and that he has not had the opportunity to review the numbers.
Councilman Benson commented.
Motion to approve was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Patino and Councilman Silva.

5. Ordinance (Public Hearing/Final Passage)
An Ordinance entitled Police Protection Services.
Motion to table to June 1, 2004 was made by Councilman Silva and seconded by Councilman Leger.
All Agreed. So Voted.
