Discussion and recommendations
A meeting of the Ordinance Committee was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m.
Attending the meeting were Councilman Patino, Chair and Councilman Benson.
Also in attendance were Friends of Animals and the City's ACO.
1. An Ordinance Amending Chapter 7 Article 1 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Central Falls regarding dogs and other animals.
Discussion took place regarding this Ordinance and how it related to the Pawtucket Ordinance. Councilman Benson expressed his concerns regarding the housing of Pit Bulls in Central Falls by Pawtucket residents.
2. Public Comments
Members of the Friends of Animals commented on the Ordinance and asked that the Board seek other means to control these animals other than prohibiting them from the City.
Since there were no votes taken at this meeting the Committee would report to the full Council on this Ordinance.
3. Adjourn
Meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
