A meeting of the Central Falls Finance Committee was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers.
1. Roll Call
For the record all members of the City Council were present and Councilman Leger chaired the meeting.
2. 2003 Audit Report
Prescott Chatellier Fontaine & Wilkinson, LLP

Mr. Peter Chatellier and Ms. Deborah Mitchell were present from the auditing firm of Prescott, Chatellier Fontaine & Wilkinson.
Mr. Chatellier stated that there are no qualifications in this report. He stated that this is new for the City.
He explained what some of the past qualifications were with regard to the City. The auditor explained that GASB set the standards of how a report should be issued and that in this first year the City is in full compliance with GASB.
The auditors explained in full detail the 2002/03 audit report.
Council members questioned the auditors as well as the Finance Director for details regarding the pension liability as well as other benefit obligations.
3. Other Business
Discussion with Finance Director
John Kuzmiski gave a brief overview of expenses in the current budget. He updated the Council on the Collection Agent. He also informed the Council that no receipts have been deposited for the Detention Center from July 1 to present. He stated that he does expect revenue this month. The Finance Director advised the Council on the Opal data package, the building official package and he also stated that he is presently looking to making a decision on the General Leger package.
Councilman Leger stated that he is sure that the Finance Director is working to make this all happen.
