A Budget Workshop of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 4:15pm p.m.

This part or the meeting would be held until after discussion with the Department Heads.
George Dumont Director of Code Enforcement was present and was questioned by Chairman Leger on staffing needs for his department.
George Dumont, requested a new printer for his department.
Discussion Public Works Department; Peter Graneri was present.
Councilman Leger questioned Mr. Graneri on the work done by the mechanics.
Mr. Graneri discussed his budget line by line with the members present.
Councilman Leger questioned Mr. Graneri on hydrant costs.
Mayor Lee M. Matthews was also present an discussed the water board settlement of $348.41 per hydrant- 170 hydrants. A total of $59,230.00
Discussion took place on providing a dog shelter, vs sharing the cost.
Anthony Tager was present for the Recreation Budget. He stated he had 25 summer employees besides himself.
The state of the playgrounds were discussed. He said he tried to spread any equipment evenly among the playgrounds.
