A Special Meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Clerk's Office at 10:10 a.m.

Quorum Present.
City Council President Albert O. Laroche presided.

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil.

Unanimous consent was given to consider the following:
Falls Fire Department Fire Prevention Demonstration in Jenks Park on Sunday Oct. 13, 1991.
Mayor Lazieh spoke.
Chief Coutu explained the program and asked that a raindate of Sunday, October 20, 1991 be granted.
Motion to approve was made by Councilman Brousseau and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau.

Mayor Lazieh asked that the Council consider the petition of Helen Murtarh who was before the September 9th City Council Meeting relative to a license transfer of location.
Unanimous consent was given.
Mrs. Murtarh explained the problem she was having with Zoning relative to the scheduling of the Zoning Meetings and claimed that this was presenting a hardship for her. She also related that this business has been in operation for seventeen years on Dexter Street.
Councilman Charbonneau questioned the applicant.
Council President Laroche stated that the City Solicitor's opinion should be sought in this matter.
Councilman Brousseau commented on the Zoning Board Meetings.
Charles Pytel commented.
Council President Laroche clarified the status of this application and stated that this license was approved subject to the Zoning Board decision.
Motion to defer any further action on this application pending the Zoning Board Meeting and if there was no Zoning Board Meeting due to lack of a quorum the City Council would take action at its Oct. 15, 1991 Meeting was made by councilman Brousseau and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau.
