REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

MONDAY, MARCH 11, 1991

CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT 8:00 P.M.

 

A Regular Meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 8:01 P.M.

 

Roll Call present:

Councilman Charbonneau

Councilman Laroche

Councilman Vaudreuil

Councilwoman Moreau absent due to illness.

Quorum present.

 

Council President Laroche presided.

Motion was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil to accept and place on file all agreed. So Voted.

 

CITY OFFICER'S REPORTS (FEB. 1991)

Minimum Housing, Electrical, Plumbing Building Inspector these reports are for January. Police Report, Municipal Court Report, Animal Control Officer Report.

Motion to accept collectively and place on file was made by Councilman Vaudreuil and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted.

 

ORDINANCES (INTRODUCTION)

 

An Ordinance Related to Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances entitled "Fire Prevention" Article III Section 10-17 "Hazardous Materials Permit to Store and Use."

Discussion relating to Citizens Gripe Sessions.

Council President Laroche commented.

Discussion was tabled until new Council person is elected.

 

Pan American Softball League - Use of Macomber Field.

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted.

Subject to approval of Recreation Director Edmond Heroux.

 

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 8:44 P.M.
