CITIZENS GRIPE SESSION

City Council President Albert 0. Laroche presided.
Meeting opened at 7:07 P.M.
also present Councilman Charbonneau
Councilwoman Moreau
Councilman Vaudreuil
Councilman Charbonneau requested that the Mayor be present at these meetings.
Jeanne Bombardier of 49 Sylvian St. C.F., a crossing guard at the corner of Cross & Broad Sts. told of her concerns at this location.
Councilman Charbonneau questioned Mrs. Bombardier further.
Jeanne Bombardier responded to Councilman Charbonneau's questions.
Mary Phillips commented on AAD, complaints. She also addressed her concerns regarding cars going through cross walks.
Councilman Vaudreuil suggested that the Police Chief be invited to come to the next session to answer some of these questions.
Councilman Charbonneau remarked that perhaps the Deputy Chief should also be invited to attend the next session as he is in charge of crossing guards.
Councilwoman Moreau questioned School Committee Chairman Robert Canavan as to who is in charge of the crossing guards.
Councilman Charbonneau commented.

Council President Laroche invited the Council Members to actually see the problems that the crossing guards are experiencing.
Wilfrid Demeule questioned the Oct. 26, 1990 Review Commission's Minutes regarding interest rates and requested that the Mayor attend the next meeting.
Josephine McLaughlin talked about tax reclassification.

Lorraine Savard questioned the TANS of the Nov. 16, 1990 Council Meeting.

Council President Laroche responded 7.35%.
Councilman Charbonneau asked that the Mayor attend the next session.
Wilfred Demeule asked if there are Liquor Licenses that have not been picked up.
City Clerk Issa responded that all liquor licenses have been picked up.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilwoman Moreau. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 7:55 P.M.
