A meeting of the Central Falls Claim Committee was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 7:38 pm William Benson Jr. Council President Presided.

2. Appointment of Chairman
Councilman Benson appointed Councilor Szlastha as Chairman of the Claims Committee.

Marie Twohey- City Clerk to Maureen Montoya of 62 Carpenter St. Pawt. –Meeting Notice

Motion to accept and place on file made by Councilor Crowley and seconded by Councilor Aubin. All Agreed. So voted. 5-0

5. Claims For Damages under $2500.00
a. Horacio Coute of 306 Illinois St., C.F- for alleged damages to tire due to a pot hole while traveling on Dexter St. on 12/31/07.
Motion to approve in the amount of $80.48 was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
b. Maureen Montoya of 62 Carpenter St.,Pawt.- for alleged damages to tire due to a pot hole while traveling on Dexter St. on 1/1/08.
Motion to approve in the amount of $176.67 was made by Councilor Crowley, seconded by Councilor Benson. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
c. Eugenia Pereira of 10 Lewis St., C.F.-for alleged damages to tire due to a pot hole while traveling on Dexter St. on 12/30/08. APPLICANT WAS NOT PRESENT!!
Motion to TABLE was made by Councilor Crowley, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
6. Claims For Damages over $ 2500.00 –(to be referred to Interlocal)
a. John B. Costa of 37 Orchard St. C.F.- his 1990 Cadillac was allegedly hit while parked at 37 Orchard St. C.F. by a tree sitting on city property due to snow storm on 12-17-07.
b. Bernardo Larios of 37 Orchard St., C.F.- his 1999 Dodge was allegedly hit by a tree while parked at 37 Orchard St., C.F. by a tree sitting on city property due to snow storm on 1217-2007.
c. Delsa Bello of 115 Garfield St., C.F.- for alleged breaking and entering into her apartment due to C.F. Police Officers chasing a suspect that occurred on 10-21-2007.
Motion to refer items a through c to the Trust was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
