A meeting of the Central Falls Claims Committee was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 7:00 pm Councilor Aubin Presided.

Motion to accept and place on file made by Councilor Crowley and seconded by Councilor Benson. All Agreed. So voted. 3-0
3. Public Comments-None
4. Claims For Damages under $2500.00
a. William Laramee of 15 Courtland Ave. C.F. –for alleged damages to tire due to striking a metal plate which was covering a hole in the ground while traveling on Hunt St. ( Pawtucket Water Supply was repairing water pipes at this location.)
Matthew Oliverio, Esq. of the Law Department was present and stated that this claim should be filed with Pawtucket Water Supply Board because they are the ones working on the road. Councilor Crowley made a motion to table this claim and requested the Law Department to write a letter and refer this to PWSB seconded by Councilor Aubin. All Agreed. So voted.
b. Carlos E. Alzate of 97 Hedley Ave. C.F.- for damages to his vehicle allegedly hit by Police Dept. corner of Hunt & Illinois Sts.
Mr. Alzate was not present.
Motion to table, was made by Councilor Crowley, and seconded by Councilor Benson. All agreed. So voted. 3-0
5. Claims For Damages over $ 2500.00 –(to be referred to Interlocal)
Estate of Dacia L. Pray for incident that occurred on August 14, 2006 involving C.F. Police Dept.
Councilor Benson recused himself, because a family member was involved.
Motion to refer this claim to The Interlocal Trust was made by Councilor Crowley, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. So voted. 2-0—1 recusal.
