A Claims Committee meeting was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 9:40 p.m.

Quorum present.
R. Sheridan Kelly, Esq. for outstanding invoices for Services July 24, 2001.
Councilman Noury stated that these claims do speak for themselves.
Motion to table was made by Councilman Patino and seconded by Councilman Weber.

Discussion ensued.
Mr. Sheridan explained the Claim in detail.
Mayor Matthews asked the Committee to look into the matter of the billing
He pointed out several billing areas that may not apply to this particular issue.
He said that the Committee should look into the billing before paying and that is the only reason he is asking the Committee to delay action.
Councilman Issa commented.
Councilman Weber commented.
Councilman Patino stated that is was only being fair to the new members of the Council to be apprised of this situation before being asked to pay this bill.
Motion to continue to the 30th of September @ 6:30 p.m. was made by Councilman Leger and seconded by Councilman Weber.

Roger Dazume and others for alleged personal injuries and property damages as a result an automobile accident that occurred 7/2/2002 corner of Cross & High due to a Traffic Signal allegedly being broken.
Roxanne Morales, a/k/a Alba Morales for injuries allegedly sustained on 9/10/1997 while playing soccer at Johnston High School.
Motion to refer to Legal and to the Trust was made by Councilman Weber and seconded by Councilman Weber. All Agreed. So Voted.
