CLAIMS COMMITTEE MEETING
A Meeting of the Central Falls Claims Committee was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 7:45 P.M.
Councilman Charbonneau
Councilman Laroche
Councilwoman Moreau
Councilman Vaudreuil
Quorum present.
Chairwoman Moreau presided.
Councilman Sienkiewicz absent due to illness.
Motion was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil to accept and place on file the minutes of the last meeting. All Agreed.
So Voted.
Stacey Baptista for personal injuries sustained in a accident with fire vehicle on 3/17/90.
Motion to refer to the Legal Department was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Laroche. All Agreed. So Voted.
Claire C. Simpson for injuries and Thomas E. Simpson for property damages sustained in an accident on Dexter St. on 3/5/1990.
Motion to refer to the Legal Department was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Laroche. All Agreed. So Voted.
Gerald E. Carignan, Jr. for damages to his vehicle, parked unattended and struck by highway department vehicle.
Motion to adjourn to Executive Session was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 8:05 P.M.
Claim was discussed.
Legal Council discussed legal aspects.
Meeting recovened at 8:15 P.M.
Motion to authorize Legal Department to negotiate claim not to exceed lowest estimate was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Laroche. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 8:16 P.M.
