CLAIMS COMMITTEE MEETING

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1990

A Meeting of the Central Falls Claims Committee was held in the City Hall Council Chambers on the above date at 7:45 p.m.

Chairperson Sandra Moreau presided.

Motion was made by Councilman Sienkiewicz and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau to accept and place on file the minutes to the previous meeting.  All Agreed.  So Voted.

Juan Crus a/k/a John Crus of 30 Cowden St., C.F. Personal Injury-Police Department $50,000-12/6/1984 - Dismissed R.I. Superior Court 2/2/90.

David Bearse of 76 Garfield St., C.F. personal injury.  (Police Department Oct. 22, 1986- US Dostrict Court- Judgement for City 1/23/89.

Stephen Desjardins- Appeal to City Council decision on Dec. 12, 1988.  Released Dec. 8, 1989.

SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM

Georgette D. Blevins of 62 Darling St. for damage to vehicle struck in rear quarter by Police Vehicle #220 on Dec. 2, 1989.

Estimates: 

Motion to settle claim to the lowest estimate of $400.51 was made by Councilman Sienkiewicz and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil and Councilman Charbonneau.  All Agreed.  So Voted.

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Sienkiewicz and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau.  All Agreed.  So Voted.  Time 8:00 P.M.
