BELDING CITY COUNCIL

5:45 p.m.

 

A meeting of the Belding City Council of the City of Belding, Michigan was convened in open and public session at the Pere Marquette Depot, 100 Depot Street, at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2025.

 

City Clerk, Janae Ortego took the roll call:

 

Members present:  Shelley Gladding, Bonita Steele, Nikolai Zerkle, Linda Curtis and Jeannine Leary

 

Members absent:    None

 

Approval of Agenda 

Moved by Steele, seconded by Gladding to approve the agenda as presented.  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all.

 

New Business

A.   Review City Manager Candidate Applications

 

Moved by Steele, seconded by Gladding, to enter into a closed session at 5:47 p.m. as allowed per MCL 15.268(f).  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all. 

 

Moved by Gladding, seconded by Zerkle, to enter back into open session at 6:50 p.m.  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all.

Moved by Zerkle, seconded by Steele to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m.  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all.
