Moved by Gladding, seconded by Steele to approve the agenda as presented.  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all.

Public Comments

Tonda Rich commented on the City Manager and the city as a whole.

New Business

A.   Moved by Gladding, seconded by Steele, to appoint Janae Ortego as the Interim City Manager, effective January 1, 2025, until a new city manager starts, including a pay increase as computed per the formula used in the past.  In addition, Ortego may increase Tonda Rich’s hours as needed without further council approval.  Motion carried by the following roll call vote:  Yes – all.

Council Comments

Gladding commented on city staff leadership, moving in the right direction, and cleaning things up.

Steele commented on cleaning things up and ADA compliance in the council chambers (speakers, cameras, TV). 

Mayor Leary commented on moving forward.
